Hey PC Peter I dislike SourceForge of late myself. It's as if they got too big for their britches and lost that initial sex appeal they had (fast, simple, to the point). Google has open source hosting for free for open projects. here's two of mine to see what they look like:
http://code.google.com/p/darkgdkoop/ and http://code.google.com/p/ironinfantrydbpro/ (Note the linked web sites had a crash and are not at the original glory - been too busy - these are hobby efforts) Just shows there's other options open source can go to . makes me wish I had the time to start our own open source hosting solution for developers and guests alike.
