i made some more testing and i wrote a subject in russian. i got the following
header:
Subject: =?ISO-8859-1?Q?=28=3F=3F=3F=3F=3F=3F=29?=
on one hand, the subject is in triplets but for some reason, it chooses the
default iso-8859-1 which leads ofcourse to a bad
subject when decoding. my computer codepage is hebrew but it doesnt mean the
other computers codepage is hebrew as
well so why does it concern about my computer codepage?
my question remains: how can i force synapse to convert the subject to UTF8 and
add the appropriate prefix:
Subject: =?UTF-8?Q?<subject in UTF8>?=
or make it use the correct conversion code when using quoted printable with
triplets
can someone simply post a snippet of his subject manipulation? or everyone here
uses only english (which ofcouse doesnt
have all the above problems)
thanks
