Hi Glen

I think it is the former .. as even for IntelliJ idea each commiter needs to request for a license on their own. So I guess it would be upto ej-technologies to approve future requests. I have tried JProbe, YourKit and JProfiler, and have identified JProfiler as one of the best

Are you saying they'll give us one copy of the software, or a team
license?

If the latter, a big +1! If the former, I'd recommend talking to a
couple of the other profiler vendors first (in fact I just took the
liberty of zapping a query over to Borland). I think it would be much
better to have a relationship like we have with IntelliJ (free copies
for the team) for profiling if at all possible.

Subject: Acceptance of a donation of an Open Source license
for JProfiler

I have been in touch with the ej-technologies team to secure
a license
for their Java profiler (JProfiler) for Synapse, as we move
close to our
1.0 release. They are willing to give me a copy in exchange
for a link
back to them
(http://www.ej-technologies.com/products/jprofiler/overview.ht
ml) from
our web site. If no one objects to this, I would like to proceed.

thanks
asankha
