The title is a bit misleading. The data model is closely tied to the
protocol and a conflict avoidance mechanism (push notifications), which
are discussed as well.
Please poke holes in this.
For small changes/corrections that you think are non-controversial,
please just update the page.
For changes that might be controversial, please add them to the page in
Italic and then lets discuss it here.
If you think that the assumptions are wrong, please explain why. This is
a straw man proposal. I am happy to throw it away if we convince
ourselves that something else is needed.
