Minor point, but Firefox accounts will rapidly become something more general.  
Firefox accounts will become the way the one authenticates to marketplace, to 
firefoxos, and to all of the features we build that span beyond a single 
device.  (Not based on blue sky dreaming, but based on the reality that we need 
a single sign-in to firefoxos, and then we need those same credentials to be 
used on marketplace desktop).

I see sync as a client of firefox accounts, but not a feature of it.
