Hello syncers,

Apologies for the bugspam many of you no doubt received, but I've done
some work cleaning up our bug lists.

We'd previously been using bug 905997 (along with bug 951296,
confusingly) as a catch-all for all issues related to desktop
accounts-based Sync. The dependency list included a mix of 29-relevant
bugs and non-29-relevant bugs.

I'd like to have everyone on the same page about which bugs we are
trying to address in Firefox 29, and which we are not.

So:

- I've filed bug 969593 to track account-based Sync bugs that we
intend to address in Firefox 29. This list should only include bugs
that are in client code (i.e. that would be fixed in what is now
mozilla-aurora).

- I've filed bug 969626 to track Firefox 29-relevant Sync issues that
affect desktop, but that are not client issues (i.e. issues with the
about:accounts "jelly", the auth/token/other servers, etc.)

We should be aggressive in keeping the dependency list of bug 969593
to a minimum, and we should be aggressive in getting the bugs there
resolved quickly. I intend to be watching this list very closely.

(Bug 905997 remains open as a non-29-specific general tracker, but I
don't expect it to be very useful in the longer term.)

Gavin
