Personally I am less fond of option 2 as I remove the new tab button from the 
browser, so I would have to go to drill though the menus to find it.  Any 
reason option 1 can't have "sync", instead of just "refresh synced tabs" at the 
bottom, then combine them into one button?  The existing sync button doesn't 
really seem to serve much purpose, as the browser synchronizes pretty 
frequently anyway.

On a side node: is it possible to rename Fennec devices with FXA?  If there is 
going to be a menu I would like to not have it read "Firefox on Evo" for my 
phone.
