Did you kill syncevo-dbus-server after the upgrade? I don't know if this is might be an issue. Otherwise, you might try to sync everything from the server again on your mobile, and test if updates to a single contact work after this. I have to reboot my phone after syncing everyting from server, otherwise the contact manager behaves strange (shows duplicated entries etc.).
