As long as your Palm has TCP connectivity (WiFi or via serial using helper tools like SoftIck PPP), that code does exist in form of a SyncML client for PalmOS. I wrote it a zillion years ago as far as I remember :-) It is based on the code that later became libsynthesis, and thus should work fine with SyncEvolution.
