We're getting a bit off topic, but I do web services at my day
job, so I'll refresh Stu's memory!

www.xmethods.net and www.strikeiron.com are two good places to
find web services. At one time people were quite excited by
the prospects for a protocol called UDDI, but no one seems 
to care about it anymore.
