Hi,

Thanks for that. I mainly have a question about using the feeds.

I am quite new to all things web but i launched started my first site last
year. I recently decided it would be good to implement RSS feeds.

I think i have created the feeds correctly (altough i have only used the basic
tags) (my feeds are located at www.homesforstudents.co.uk/sitemap.aspx).

These are my questions:

If you look at the sitemap you will see i have a seperate feed for each city.
The feed will show the 5 most recent updated / added properties. The problem
is that with there being so many many feeds (and more in the future) it is a
very manual task of submitting each feed for each city.

Is there any kind of 'RSS Crawler'? if such a beast does exist, how do i get
it to index all of my feeds automatically? all i have found so far is:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS"
href="http://www.homesforstudents.co.uk/rss_student_accommodation.aspx"; />

Which i put at the top of my default page. Is this the best (only?) was of
doing this?

Basicallly, how do i get my feeds automatically indexed so when people search
for say student acommodation nottingham, it will show my nottingham feed?

Sorry this is a bit wordy but i have stuggled to find sites that explain how to
get your feed know - plently around on how to create them!

Thanks in advance,

Dave

This is probably a good place to ask. What questions do you have?
Are they about making the feeds or using them?

Feel free to ask them here on the list. You may have a few questions
others haven't yet asked. I'm sure myself or any number of other
folks can offer answers.
