Thanks Stuart!

I didn't know if suggesting your own feed was frowned on. I thought maybe it
was an "I like this feed; take a look at it" type thing.

I will suggest my FeedBurner feed and see what happens. I'd like to limit
exposure to the FeedBurner feed (instead of the Blogger feed) because

1. I want the FeedBurner stats, and
2. FeedBurner will translate my Atom feed into RSS, where appropriate.

Can't figure out why I would want to put a link to my original source (Blogger)
on my blog. What am I missing?

I'm technically challenged, but I'm learning.

I don't know the protocol for this forum. Should I reply back to everyone who
replies to me, even if it's only to say "Thanks," or is that considered not
appropriate because it just takes up space.

If I change my subscription to "Digest," as someone suggested, would I be sure
to get all of the replies specifically to me?

If I do have occasion to give my Blogger feed (see under my sig, below) do I
need to include the atom/xml part? I'm wondering why I would need to do that,
since using just the rest of the link, without the "atom/xml" works to get me
to my blog.

Thanks, Stuart
Joanna

Hi Joanna,

If you just added your blog info in your profile, this does not
actually add it to the feeds database. You need to actually Suggest
the feeds, and you can Suggest both the Atom source and (I believe)
the FeedBurner version. (I haven't taken the time to experiment with
what FeedBurner has to offer yet, so I'm can't speak from experience
about that.)

Once you've submitted the feeds via the Suggest feature, there is a
process that the feeds will go through automatically until (usually)
they reach the "Awaiting Approval" status. Once there, the feed can
be featured, and you can request (via this list) that someone review
the feed for approval. When it is approved by a Reviewer, it goes
into Syndicated status.

Hope this helps,
