I'm in the process of approving Feed ID: 89117, Site: http://blogs.msdn.com/vsto/.
This happens to be a blog about Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for MS Office, a not too well used framework for embedding .net code into Word & Excel. There have been less than 20 posts in 1.5 years, only 2 this year, and none in the last 2 months. The Feed State description says: Awaiting Approval This is a site that has been polled for a while and now meets the requirements to be marked as Syndicated. The requirements are: 1. Its current state is Polling. 2. It has a site name. 3. It has been polled at least 6 times. 4. It has had at least one new story after the first poll. 5. It has been live at least 75% of the time. Sites in this state are presented to users with the Reviewer role for approval. Item 4 isn't satisfied, i.e., no new stories since first poll. (I'd be surprised if there were more than 1-2 new stories ever, as this list focuses on Office 2003 and MS is pushing the Office 2005 interface now. The last post was about the Office 2005 beta.) There may be useful legacy information for some, however. Approve, or don't approve? Rod [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
