Hi Leah

Couple of things.

When you go into feedburner, and the page that pops up where you can view your
stats, click on the link Publicize, there you will find differnet methods to
publicize your feed on your site.

As for the feed search engines. You can install an Autodiscovery Tag into your
HTML of your site: Here is my auto discovery tag what you see in red replace
with your info. Place it in your header of the HTML It is also a good idea to
have a differnet auto discovery tag for each page on your site.

<link rel="alternate"
      type="application/rss+xml"
      title="MLM Success"
      href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/MlmSuccess";>

Here's a site that will show you the proper formate for auto discovery tags.
http://diveintomark.org/rfc/draft-pilgrim-atom-autodiscovery-02.html#rfc.section.7

You are using feedburner so you can just replace the link with your own

For more people to find your feed register it with the different directories
that are out there. Also give out your feedburner url instead of the one on
your site it will also help with band width.

Here are a few to get you started:

http://www.blogdigger.com/add.jsp
http://www.blogstreet.com/bin/addrss.cgi
http://www.feedster.com/add.php

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for the tip. I hooked my feed up with feedburner, but I'm still a
little confused as to how RSS syndication works. Will users only see my
feed if they "sign up" for it? If that's true, how will they find my feed.
Is the front page of my site the only place where a user would stumble upon
it? In other words, are there like feed search engines that index every
rss feed or will people only know about my feed from promoting it on the
site?
