Hi Lee (and everyone else),
I have fixed this problem and link.php should now behave as expected.
The fix was a bit more complicated that expected, but it seems to be
working well.
By the way everyone, you can use link.php to link from your site or
blog back to Syndic8. There's more info at:
http://www.syndic8.com/link.php
