Hi Folks!

I've downloaded the Source Code onto a Virtual Machine and I'm currently
going through the code trying to understand it. It may take some time... :S

I've never done any C++ before, and perhaps a codebase as large as Synfig
Studio isn't the best place to start (!) but I'll give it a go. I have done
GTK and some Cairo programming in Vala, Python so hopefully the references,
pointers and standard library won't be too difficult.

What I'm planning to do is do work on the Grids, Guides and Snapping to
start with so that some of the work I do in Synfig becomes easier.

I'd particularly like to add angled guides and grids with origins other
than 0,0. Once I've understood what I'm going to change, where and how I'll
write a document for you to have a look at and then take it from tehre.

All the best,

Dave
