Has anyone got Synfig working on 64 bit Ubuntu Edgy? I gave up trying to install
it on Dapper, so I upgraded to Edgy because there was Ubuntu binary packages
available for it. Of course they were buggy as hell as I then found out from
the FAQ-page... so I tried to install from source but that didn't work either,
'make' gives me error message:

surface.cpp: In member function 'void
synfig::Surface::blit_to(synfig::Surface::alpha_pen&, int, int, int, int)':
surface.cpp:161: error: no matching function for call to 'min(int&, long int)'

I found a similar error message from the mailing list but no fix. can anybody
help me?

Like so many others here, I too am very excited about Synfig and would really
much try it out, but it's so hard to get it working. I played around it in
Windows six months ago and it looked great but apparently the windows build
wasn't able to render animations in any format...
