IPNet Router (something like that) there's a demo for 68k and ppc. I happily registered a copy for the 7300 (it has serial ports) to get the lower end macs online. Localtalk connection. I don't think the classic handles the transfer rates very well though. We run Mactpc in static mode but I'm sure the address the classic adopted was while Mactpc was in dhcp mode though I couldn't get out anywhere. IPNR seems to be pretty light on resources, from memory Amber has or had a very good page about it and how to configure it, Hope something there helps and I haven't got it backwards. -- System6 is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> System 6 Heaven <http://www.euronet.nl/users/mvdk/system_6_heaven.html> System6 info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/system6.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/system6%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
