Yup, still very serviceable for that purpose. Plus there's just something cool about using old Macs, isn't there? System 6 is very beautiful _and_ functional in it's simplicity and intuitive design :-) The kind of Mac you could be introduced to in the morning and be drawing and typing documents by the afternoon. Obviously MacOS X is far more powerful, but has anyone had that sort of experience with a flat panel iMac running 10.3.5? I'm willing to bet the answer is NO. But that used to happen all the time with System 6 and the Classic II's back when I was in college (read: high school for you Americans). Personally, I try to put any spare compact Macs I come across to work as email clients for young kids I know, and they love it (at least till they become infatuated with today's video games and want something that will run those - not that that's a bad thing). > I am glad to see that the System 6 Digest is still alive.
