Speaking about the version it shows if this is an SMP kernel, and if the kernel is preemtible, IOW build with CONFIG_PREEMPT
Now, how many preemtible kernels are running systemd? And by coincidence, here we are speaking about systemd-analyze :-) Not to mention the build time stamp that will tell you if two same kernels differ... used in the embedded world. > I understand that the plot currently shows the value, but maybe the > right choice is to simply drop it there? Showing this sounds mostly like > folklore to me... Sure, David posted a nice video of it, during the last systemd hackfest :-) Ok, if you are against it, I'll just update the patch and drop it, I didn't bother, just fix the bug and keep the old behaviour. The code that adds this is really small. -- Djalal Harouni http://opendz.org _______________________________________________ systemd-devel mailing list systemd-devel@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/systemd-devel
