I have LOVED the ESPN Golden League coverage! To not ramble, I'll sum up my thoughts
as such:
1) I prefer 2 hours of tape-delay over 1 hour of same-day (if those two factors are at
all related. I'd guess that Berlin wasn't delayed until the weekend in order to not
conflict with the first weekend of pro/college football).
2) Taking the international feed (something I've lobbied for for years) is better than
sending Larry of Lewis over. The result is more action and less interviews/fluff.
3) Great coverage of distance races, with some races given almost start-to-finish
coverage. Field events have gotten short shrift, but they always do, even on Eurosport.
4) I hope you do similar coverage next year!
