<<Following on from Monday's announcement of the Ethiopian team, with Haile G
listed to defend his title, Tim Hutchings reported on Eurosport (during the
Nice meeting) that he had been talking to Jos Hermens earlier in the day.
Hermens apparently told Hutchings that Haile has been doing track sessions in
spikes for several weeks and was training very well and MAY do a race or two
(no distance specified) before the world champs. If not, then he would
definately try to defend his title even if he had to go to Edmonton cold. >>
