Some BIOS may have the Large/LBA choice and even when LBA is selected
the BIOS may still use CHS commands to the device. Remember that
Large and LBA really do not have anything to do with the type of
commands issued to the device (CHS or LBA) but have to do with the
method of computing the CHS translation and computing the "fake" CHS
geometry that is returned by INT 13H AH=08H.

CHS translation has always been a great source of confusion for
everyone. It is too bad it even exists and really bad that there are
two methods for doing it.
