Thanks, but it seems I'm going with wool after all. :-) I'm having to use wool for the starting band for the warp weighted loom anyway. I did my samples for both that band and the actual tablet weaving demo using 2/16 worsted and it worked quite well except for being too fine to show up well at the demo. At the moment, the project team are all trying to come up with something suitable for the WW loom warp (and therefore the band), so I have my fingers crossed. I think I may get thicker yarn for the TW demo from another member too, or I may just use the 2/16 doubled or even tripled.
