Gina, I would love to see the whole article. Thanks!

The short notice we've had has been really frustrating as it has limited
the amount of research we can do - no time for inter-library loan, for
instance. Losing my net access for 5 days didn't help either.

I'm going to be using square tablets at the demo days, and another
member will be using triangular ones. Well include on our information
sheet that there is some dispute over whether the triangular ones are
really for TW. From Joan's experience with them, I think it is strange
that they would leave the sharp points on the triangle rather than
rounding them off, as that would make the weaving much easier.

Also, the triangles found at the site were metal (bronze, I think).
Although TTW does mention bronze finds, few of them seem likely to have
actually been used for TW. The triangular ones we'll use will be card.
Ryszard may have time to make some wooden square ones for me, but
otherwise mine will have to be card or even plastic. This is just a
demonstration, not a re-enactment, so we can explain on our information
sheets which materials would really have been used.

Last night, I went to see the progress on the warp weighted loom that is
being built for us (and for which I'll make the TW starting border).
This is turning out to be a fascinating project for us all.
