Thanks andyhot. I see how that works but what I am more worried about are the AJAXDirectLink's I don't have access to namely those generated by the tacos components. So for instance If I was to use the Tacos Tree and wanted that div to show up every time the tree was being toggled I would not be able to capture the events as per your example unless I modify the tacos components unless of course you know different.
I am guessing the only way to do this would be to somehow have tacos.defaultLinkAction call a delegate method to do anything before it kicks in and then have the bind function do something after it is done. That would capture every ajax direct link and encapsulate the code.
