In my opinion there should be some common prefix (award, rating, does
not really matter). That way it is clear what it means even if one
does not know that particular rating system. That would probably not
be the case with Michelin stars, but most rating systems are less
famous.
With prefix a sensible presentation is possible even for systems
unknown to the application, something not possible without prefix.

If there are two entities (hotel and restaurant) eligible for
independent award/rating in the same system, they should probably have
a different nodes in OSM anyway.
If the rating applies to the whole area/facility site relation would
be the place for ratings.
That is because one object should not be influenced by nearby objects
in tagging (adding <Subject> prefixes and similar.
