As an aside, if anyone's looking for a style that does render golf features have a look at https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#zoom=17&lat=53.1345&lon=-1.29653 . The style's available for use elsewhere if anyone wants it; follow the links at the top of the page. I'm sure there are other styles as well.
