DFAT by the way is the Australian Dept of Foreign Affairs & Trade
And the uk government uses *.gov.uk , The Japanese use *.go.jp, the
French use *.gouv.fr
I am certain there are many more examples of this.
And these email addresses and domains are used both locally and
internationally.
However in OSM landuse=government does not imply US government everywhere!
