Hi, a while ago, a post on our forum pointed us to Debian bug #638262 [1], that points out that fonts look ugly on Debian compared to other distros, especially on LCD screens.
[1] http://bugs.debian.org/638262 A possible solution was proposed on that bug, I've tested it, and it looks like it works fine for me. The result is astonishingly nicer and more readable. Please consider testing the attached configuration on your Wheezy/sid system, on various kinds of screens including CRT ones, and report back (either to the bug or to me): # (cd /etc ; tar xf $ARCHIVE_TAR_BZ2) (Testing on Squeeze might be useful too, by the way, in case we want to ship these config files on current Tails. But it seems more important to me to get that fixed upstream, that is in Debian Wheezy.)
