Hi,
I'm hoping you can offer some advice on using TAILS on a MacBook Air. Here's
my problem:
* I followed carefully the on-line instructions for installation on a
MacBook Air
(2013 model).
* Although my installation didn't follow the written instructions
exactly, I was
able to burn a DVD and successfully install it and run on the Mac.
* The SERIOUS problem occurred when I shut down TAILS and attempted to
return to MacOSX. It just plain wasn't possible to run or even find
MacOSX
on the SSD. Near as I can tell, running TAILS actually overwrote the
entire
SSD and MacOSX.
* To make a long story short, I had to Restore MacOSX from Time Machine to
even use the machine at all for MacOSX. I had no problem rebooting TAILS,
but on shutdown the ONLY thing the machine would accept for reboot was
the TAILS DVD. I couldn't even reboot with an Apple MacOSX DVD!
So, I'd love to run TAILS, but at present it appears that I cannot
(easily!) use
that machine for TAILS and MacOSX. Am I doing something wrong??
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Win Stiles
