3rc1 installs and boots on all the hardware i have around.
it feels somewhat slower in booting.
tor browser is much less stable in rc1:
in 2.12 opening 10+ tabs hardly slows down the computer(s). hell, sometimes i
have 30 odd tabs open with little speed issues.
rc1 with 4-5 tabs open of high street retailer web sites (amazon, mediamarkt,
lidl, etc) often hogs it down to unusable levels. As in waiting over 60 seconds
for a page to load and render/display. that is when tor is under light load.
when tor is under heavy load (evening for example), tails is slow loading
obviously, but rc1 regularly freezes up needing a hard reset.
isnt tor browser supposed to behave identical in 2.12 and rc1? is rc1 more
power hungry in ram/processor leaving little to tor browser on a 2 gb machine?
issue is only marginally less on 4 gb machine.
feature request:
- please bring back natural scrolling off as in 2.12, or make trackpad settings
persistent.
- please allow for persistent keyboard
