At times like this, it would be great to have a public "shout" box aka reddit
on the tails web site ... I dont do reddit and if the list gets retired i wont
know about mass affecting issues until too late ... sticking to 2.12

I understand your frustration, but keep in mind that you mainly read
about people who are experiencing this bug: most of those who are not
affected by this problem silently move on with their life :)
Still, this is a serious regression, and we"re taking it seriously.
