What about "meadows" that are used to keep horses ? Do we tag them as described in https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Riding? I tend add "animal_keeping=horse" to them, as those places are only used to keep horses.
Another question is related to many dykes in Flanders. Often they are only covered by grass. But is this meadow ? Or just landcover=grass ? In some cases the grass is maintained by sheep, in which case I understand the landuse=meadow. You will not notice any permanent barrier then, there will be a removable electrical fence when there are sheep. m. p.s. Oh, what was OSM easy before I started to look deeper into landuse/landcover/natural tags :-) On Wed, Apr 26, 2017 at 12:28 PM, joost schouppe <joost.schou...@gmail.com> wrote: > See, we really have no clue what we're doing :) > But maybe we should do this discussion in a separate thread > > > 2017-04-26 12:18 GMT+02:00 Marc Gemis <marc.ge...@gmail.com>: >> >> On Wed, Apr 26, 2017 at 10:26 AM, joost schouppe >> <joost.schou...@gmail.com> wrote: >> > * About OSM.be: we're still thinking about what exactly we want to use >> > the >> > Projects for - the fact we don't really know was shown quite clearly by >> > Marc's latest article. >> >> which was not placed under Projects :-) >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Talk-be mailing list >> Talk-be@openstreetmap.org >> https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-be > > > > > -- > Joost Schouppe > OpenStreetMap | Twitter | LinkedIn | Meetup > > _______________________________________________ > Talk-be mailing list > Talk-be@openstreetmap.org > https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-be > _______________________________________________ Talk-be mailing list Talk-be@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-be
