I run across entities with his fingerprint all over the place, but I can not guarantee that there are issues with everything he touched. If everything that had a vriemer edit on it was damaged, it would be very easy to clear it all out, but I don't see that in the areas that I've looked at. Obviously some of the edits were suspect, which is what triggered the block on his user profile, but there never was a consensus to remove all edits by that user. Perhaps what you are seeing in your area is different from what I have observed.
