This release of Canvec.osm in Quebec area has addressing/street name, but
manual transfer of street name on existing road network takes up to 95% of
uploading time.
This might be a good use of RoadMatcher.
-Use RoadMatcher to match existing roads in osm with the canvec.osm tiles
with the names to produce a mapping of exisitng osm_id values to the id
values in the canvec.osm file
-Write a script that takes each unamed road and grabs the way from the API
adds the matched name from canvec.osm and uploads the new version of the
way.
Any ideas?
