The ESRI layer in BC is now pretty good as well, and has the latest orthophotography from all the cities with open data (and a few that don't). Much easier than manually collecting from each municipality. Generally this is still the urban cities and town, and not rural areas of course though. Unless the regional districts every collect orthophotos I'm not sure we're likely to get any high-resolution outside of the bigger cities.
