In the course of looking for something else, I noticed that someone had tagged Droitwich Spa Lido, which is an open air swimming pool, as water=natural. That's clearly wrong
Left-field thought, but a quick web search reveals it's a salt-water pool in a town built around salt-water springs.  Are you sure the water isn't natural?

It's semi-natural. It's from the brine springs, but it is piped and treated. But then, all water is, ultimately, natural - if it doesn't come from a spring or the sea then it's collected after falling from the sky :-)

More the the point, though, the wiki explicitly states that swimming pools should be tagged as leisure=swimming_pool. Other examples of naturally filled, but artificial, pools include Shoalstone seawater pool in Brixham and Plymouth Tinside Lido, both of which are tagged as leisure=swimming_pool in OSM.

So I think that's the correct primary tag here, too, even if it's not just tap water in the poll. Other tags could be used to indicate the source of the water, if necessary.

Mark
