I you don't know Python, you can still translate the web site et the static strings of the generated map. We can help you with Python code. We recommend that you subscribe to maposmatic-dev mailing list (http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/maposmatic-dev) with relatively low traffic and ask there further questions.
