The CUS stops around here show as grey on the Hull scheme (rather than red) now I've tried it, so I don't think any changes are needed - but I'll check over the area. For example I don't know what happens if I add flag=yes (or shelter=yes or anything else to a CUS stop to indicate it does exist) - does it stay grey or go green? I'll check such stops I've already surveyed to see.
