uhm. No. A simple bus/train/tram stop simply stays relatively simple and
relation-less:
public_transport=stop_position
bus/tram/rail/subway=yes
name=West Station
+
public_transport=platform
name=West Station
You don't need any stop_area or whatever relation to combine those two
nodes/ways. You can do, but most PT websites will be able to link those
two without.
