Yes, there is.  How painlessly this is depends on your distribution;
worst case scenario you have to pull in some -dev packages and compile a
single file for one of the Yahoo hacks to work.  Took me less time than
it took to get coffee to get it working.

Is there a particular spot where you're stuck on this?
