I'd suggest you copy o...@mapquest.com to further replies on this thread. As for consistency, perhaps adding alternate tags is a possible solution. Messy and redundant, but, yes, consistency for styling, routing, etc will continue to be an issue if ground truth is considered authoritative, and it's allowed to be effectively free-form. It is not my intention to start a large debate on this thread, nut this does need to addressed.
