That was me -- but I would argue it's an unusual way to tag it -- it's not the individual letters that are important, it's the whole piece. You wouldn't tag each president in Mount Rushmore and leave it at that, right? To me the letters are secondary and to the whole. The FDR Memorial in DC is the same way, each part is tagged, but there's a point for the whole thing. Or maybe it should be tagged as an area, since the sign takes up an area?
