I work for Engen and also handle spatial data of service stations. Currently we are in process to get approval to supply SA players in the spatial market with our dataset - can get approval at the same time for OSM. So, any SA specific comments on this: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Proposed_features/Fuel_Station (I can supply octane data as well but that is pretty standard here and would prefer to keep it simple.)
