I've generated a new version of the Cape Town import OSM file, which can be found at http://adrian.frith.co.za/cape-town-import.osm.bz2
Changes are: - The file is now proper UTF-8. (Previously there was some oddity about accented characters in street names.) - Removed maxspeed=0 tags as being plainly silly. - Removed access=yes tags as being redundant. - Removed CoCT: prefixed tags, which contained the original data from the shapefile, as being unnecessary.
