First step is to identify the difference in the PC environment between when you run it manually and when the scheduler runs it. What do you do to be able to run something manually - RDP into it maybe?
To clear this up. ~ of ~ on an BWS Activate title ,false or Connect title,stWindows command means 2 things: 1. The caption passed to the command is not currently part of a caption for any running application on the PC 2. The caption passed to the command does match but the application itself has a flaw where it does not have a styCaption style. Finally is this a new setup? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 08, 2014 2:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [talkbws] Method '~' of object '~' failed I'm attempting to run various BWS scripts under Windows scheduler, and they are getting this error (Method '~' of object '~' failed) as soon as they start. I'm able to run the scripts manually just fine. This is on Server 2008 R2. The schedule settings I have: Program: C:\BSS70\Bss80.exe Add arguments: C:\BWS_Scripts\script1.bws /r Main /t Start in: C:\BWS_Scripts Run with highest privileges I don't see any similarities between the scripts and most of them are having this issue. None of the scripts have any use of ~ in the code. Any thoughts?
