I had a similar problem with another computer we have one script running on that would sometimes just not run. I put it on the task scheduler to open it at a specific time, run, then shut down and that fixed our problem. That was on a Win 7 machine. The server below was running Win Server 2008 R2.

When you are manually running it is not locked. On our server, there is someone logged in, but we disconnect, which locks it. Programs that are opened by the scripts can run locked, so we have no problem. The other thing we have done is reboot the server if the problem is intermittent and it has not been restarted for a while. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 08, 2014 2:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [talkbws] Method '~' of object '~' failed I?m attempting to run various BWS scripts under Windows scheduler, and they are getting this error (Method '~' of object '~' failed) as soon as they start. I?m able to run the scripts manually just fine. This is on Server 2008 R2. The schedule settings I have: Program: C:\BSS70\Bss80.exe Add arguments: C:\BWS_Scripts\script1.bws /r Main /t Start in: C:\BWS_Scripts Run with highest privileges I don?t see any similarities between the scripts and most of them are having this issue. None of the scripts have any use of ~ in the code. Any thoughts?
