I've not seen this message for several years, since the conversion from serial to network connections. In the serial world, it was a noticeable problem with entering transactions, and we had to enter text 10 characters at a time and then read them back just to be sure (it's clinical data afterall).
For network connections, scripters have had excellent success at keying data at more like a line at a time (anyone with contrary experience, please let us know), so I'd suggest this approach. I've seen this happen on old serial connections, but I see it's also possible when any communication channel is overflowed. It only happens when I am enter text into the free text area of OE via the script. Apparently it sends this message when Meditech is not able to keep up with the data being sent.
