It's the fat client, but thanks for the Citrix info, that might come in
handy.

Thanks.

Subject: RE: [Talk] Login script for Cerner front-end app

Greetings,

Of course I should also have asked in earlier message - is this the "fat
client" version of Cerner, or is it the hosted version - i.e. deployed
over Citrix. If it's the latter, need to use the Digital OCR connection
- not Windows since Citrix only projects "fancy screen shots". To script
a Citrix deployed app, you either:

A. Install BWS on the Citrix (or similar technologies server) - all
of the "remote projection products (remote desktop etc) are pretty much
the same

B. Script the "projected image" using our Digital OCR Connection

Regards,

Thom

Greetings,

The trick here is that it has a "captionless" splash screen.

If memory serves, you can use:

Connect "HNAM",stWindows since that's a caption listed in the Taskbar
icon.

An alternate approach is to determine the handle of the captionless
window and connect to it. Version 9 has a command that will return the
handle of the foreground window.

Folks in support can help you either way.

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [Talk] Login script for Cerner front-end app

Greetings. We're having trouble getting a login script to work for some
Cerner Millennium front-end apps. Wondering if anyone has had any
success with this. Could not find any existing scripts or tips on the
BWS web site for this.

Thanks, Greg
